Este es el tercer cambio que se realiza en la provincia en el gobierno de Daniel Noboa. Quezada entr\u00f3 en reemplazo de Consuelo Jumbo, quien apenas un d\u00eda antes fue designada gobernadora, luego de derogar el decreto que inicialmente nombr\u00f3 a Silvio D\u00e1vila, exjefe de la Polic\u00eda Judicial como gobernador. Este \u00faltimo dur\u00f3 8 d\u00edas con ese nombramiento.
